Academy selection at 4 months out. Each workshop group can choose a different Academy or all groups can work on the same one. We guide you through both.
The number of trainers booked determines how many workshop groups there will be. Each group works independently with their trainer throughout the whole project. Groups can choose the same or different Academies, that is entirely up to you.
Final student lists per workshop group, with any relevant notes. Needed 2 weeks before the project starts. See below for guidance on how to create the groups.
We encourage teachers to pop by and catch snippets of the workshops, but there's no need to be present throughout. Our trainers work hard to build a relaxed, all-English environment, free from the usual pressures of grades and classroom expectations and this is best without permanent teacher presence. Having a contact person on hand for emergencies is sufficient.
The welcome workshop on day one works best as a large group, so a space like the Aula is ideal to start. For the individual workshops, each group needs a classroom or similar room with a whiteboard, smartboard, or flipchart — tables and chairs aren't essential, as many activities involve movement. For the final presentations, the full group comes back together, so the Aula or a larger space is needed again. All of this will be discussed in detail specific to your school in the lead up to your project.

Three 90-minute blocks per day are the core of the programme: creative challenges and collaborative tasks within your chosen Academy, led by your native-speaker trainer. We adapt start and end times to match your school timetable.
On the last day, each team presents their project in English, in front of everyone. Nerve-wracking in the best way. Usually the moment students mention months later.
4.5 hours of English per day (6 × 45 min) is our sweet spot. We can go shorter or up to 6 hours, whatever works for your school. Just let us know and we'll build the schedule around you.
If your school has different timetables on different days, we follow those too. Share your schedule with us and we'll align everything: breaks, lunch, and all three workshop blocks, to your usual school times.

Founded in 2020, LevelUp English brings the experience of an international language immersion right to your school. Your child spends their Project immersed in English, working with a team of international native-speaker trainers on creative, real-world projects.
We use immersion and project-based learning rather than grammar drills. Students leave having genuinely used the language, not just studied it. The confidence that comes from that tends to last. We care about the whole student, not just their vocabulary.
Our trainers come from around the world, bringing their own cultures, accents, and ways of working. Students encounter English as it's actually used globally, not just one version of it.
All trainers are vetted and background-checked before they join us. We operate with clear safeguarding protocols and work alongside trusted partners including the Deutschen Jugendherbergsverband and HEROLÉ Reisen.

We use immersion and project-based methods, language acquired through doing rather than drilling. Students build critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills alongside their English, often without realising it.
Watching them work in English all week, be engaged and then present their project with such confidence is one of those moments you don't forget as a teacher.
