The number of trainers booked for the class trip determines how many workshop groups there will be. Each workshop group can choose either a different Academy or the same one.

We know sending your child on a class trip raises questions. Here's what we're about, how we work, and why it tends to stick.
Founded in 2020, LevelUp English brings the experience of an international language trip right to Germany. Your child spends their project immersed in English — working with a team of international native-speaker trainers on creative, real-world projects.
We use immersion and project-based learning rather than grammar drills. Students leave having genuinely used the language — not just studied it. The confidence that comes from that tends to last. We care about the whole student, not just their vocabulary.
Our trainers come from around the world — native and near-native speakers who bring their own cultures, accents, and ways of working. Students encounter English as it's actually used globally, not just one version of it.
All trainers are vetted and background-checked before they join us. We operate with clear safeguarding protocols and work alongside trusted partners including the Deutschen Jugendherbergsverband, HEROLÉ Reisen, and Klett Sprachen.
Since 2020, we've worked with over 100 schools and more than 5,000 students across Germany. We're happy to connect you with schools who've been before if you'd like a first-hand perspective.
We use immersion and project-based methods — language acquired through doing rather than drilling. Students build critical thinking, creativity, and communication skills alongside their English, often without realising it.
The students came back completely transformed. They were speaking English with each other on the coach home — that had never happened before. LevelUp gave them something no textbook could.
As a parent I was nervous. My daughter is shy with languages. By day two she was leading her team's presentation. I couldn't believe it when she told me.

Morning sessions are the core of the programme — creative challenges and collaborative tasks within your chosen Academy, led by your native-speaker trainer team.
Friday morning, each team presents their project in English — in front of everyone. Nerve-wracking in a good way. Usually a highlight students mention months later.
You choose 2 afternoon and 2 evening activities — all run by your LevelUp trainers. Afternoons are 2–2.5 hours, evenings are 2 hours. The point is to use English without thinking about it.
In groups, students solve English challenges to earn "money" — then use it to buy materials and build a structure that protects their egg from a big drop. Engineering, language, and controlled chaos.
Teams work together to complete challenges that take them through their surroundings — interacting with their environment, solving puzzles, and getting creative. Every challenge in English.
Small teams explore the local area completing photo challenges and creative tasks. Storytelling, composition, and collaboration — all through the lens of English.
Olympic teams form, compete across three rounds of active challenges, and earn points in a competition that blends fitness with English tasks. High energy, high reward.
Teams design sustainable fashion brands, create two outfits, and deliver a passionate speech at a real runway show. One of the most memorable evenings of the week — every time.
Think end-of-year school disco but actually good. Students dance the night away to their favourite songs, share highlights from the week, and celebrate together in English.
Bring your favourite snacks, fluffiest blanket, and settle in for a film in English (theme of your choice). Cosy, communal, and a great way to absorb natural spoken English.
An atmospheric evening around the campfire where teams face off in a creative, musical competition. The kind of evening that turns classmates into friends. (Not available at all locations.)
Most students leave surprised by what they managed to do in English. That feeling — of actually being able to — is what we're here for.
